Soybean cold pressed oil

The best oils are cold pressed. The oil is obtained through pressing and grinding fruit or seeds with the use of or modern stainless steel presses. Soybean cold pressed oil contains natural antioxidants such as tocopherols (e.g. Vitamin E) and phosphatides (e.g. Lecithin). Cold pressed oils retain all of their flavour, aroma, and nutritional value, making these oils great for all cooking and skin care requirements. They contain zero grams of trans fatty acids and are naturally cholesterol-free.

Quality of soybean oil produced in Ukraine is defined of according to the DSTU ( State Standards of Ukraine) 4534-2006 and usually has next criteria (rates):

  • Production method  – pressing method
  • Humidity – not more than 0,2%
  • Acid number  – no more then 6,0 mg KOH/g
  • Peroxide number  – no more than 10.0 SO mmol/kg after the expiry of term of storage
  • Flesh temperature – not lower than 225 °C
  • Weight percentage of phosphorous-containing substances – no more than 6.0 in conversion to stearo-oleolecithin no more than 0.54 in conversion to P2O5
  • Smell and taste – typical for soya oil, without foreign smell after-taste
